What To Expect

My focus is in the psychodynamic concepts that allow for us to address life experiences that can be both defined and understood through metaphor. In therapy we are solidifying your understanding of what the experience may symbolize for you. My goal is to provide therapy that facilitates a deeper understanding of one’s experience. I see therapy as medium that can lead to long-lasting change. As a clinical psychologist, therapy as a treatment is used as an exploration of insight and compassionate engagement to help you identify what obstacles are getting in the way of your professional and personal growth.

  • Long-term recovery work and relapse prevention
  • Reduction of mood symptoms
  • Couples work for enriching relationships.

Jungian and other depth-oriented approaches are incorporated in my work as a psychologist. Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, I seek to engage individuals in a comprehensive therapy that considers the whole self within the process of treatment.
